Back in September, we shared our plan to start a Catholic women’s group for women from parishes all across Kansas City. Thank you to everyone who came to the informational meeting and helped shape what this group will be. We’re so excited to say the Grounded Catholic Women’s Group is here, and we begin next Tuesday, November 10!
Our first series: How to Understand the Old Testament
We’re starting with the Old Testament, a part of Scripture that many of us find hard to approach on our own. Chad Pirotte will walk us through how to read it, how it fits together, and why it still matters for our faith today. Chad is a husband and father, a former Presbyterian pastor, a former instructor for the School of Faith, and the Director of Grounded Catholic.
An ongoing Catholic women’s group in Kansas City
This is a new, ongoing group, not a one-time class. After this first series, we hope to keep going with a new one in the new year. Our hope is that this becomes a place where Catholic women in Kansas City can grow in faith and in friendship, week after week.
