Camino and Fátima Pilgrimage
with Grounded Catholic
18 — 27 June, 2027
Group size: limited to 20 pilgrims
Come walk with us! We’ll begin in Fátima, where Our Lady asked for prayer and sacrifice, and then carry that message on foot along the Portuguese Camino to the tomb of St. James in Santiago. Last summer a group of us made this journey together, and it changed us. If you’ve been longing for time to pray, to slow down, and to share the road with friends in faith, this pilgrimage is for you.
2027 is a Holy Year of St. James in Santiago de Compostela, a special year of grace when pilgrims from around the world make their way to the tomb of the Apostle. There is no better year to walk the Camino.
Over 9 days, we will pray at the Sanctuary of Fátima, then walk the final 100+ km of the Portuguese Way from Tui to Santiago. Along the way we will walk, pray, rest, share meals, and encounter God through sacred spaces, stunning landscapes, and the gentle rhythm of pilgrimage. Our journey concludes in Santiago de Compostela, where we'll spend our final night together at the renowned 5-star Parador de Santiago de Compostela, one of the world's oldest continuously operating hotels and a historic refuge for pilgrims. We'll celebrate with a special dinner in a private room in this unforgettable setting.
This pilgrimage will be led by Chad Pirotte, founder of Grounded Catholic.
