Beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2026 Grounded Catholic is starting a Tuesday morning series for men: How to Read the Old Testament.
The Old Testament contains some of the most ancient and powerful stories ever told. We hear these stories at Mass. We know names like Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets. But many Catholic men have never had the opportunity to step back and see how these stories fit together—or how they connect to Christ and to our own lives today.
This series is designed to change that.
Discover the Big Picture of the Old Testament
Throughout the series, Chad Pirotte will make the Old Testament approachable and practical, even if you’ve never spent much time reading the Bible on your own.
We’ll look at important stories throughout the Old Testament, learn practical ways to read and understand Scripture, and discover the larger story running through the Bible.
Most importantly, we’ll explore how the Old Testament points toward Jesus Christ.
A Community of Catholic Men in Kansas City
Our Tuesday morning men’s group has become Grounded Catholic’s staple event, bringing together more than 75 men from 10 different Catholic parishes throughout the Kansas City area.
Men come from different backgrounds, different stages of life, and different levels of experience with their Catholic faith. What brings us together is a desire to become better Catholic men and to grow closer to Christ alongside other men who want the same thing.
